Eric Clapton（艾力克莱普顿）是当今世界上首屈一指的蓝调摇滚吉他大师，琴风沉稳而精炼传神。他的蓝调音乐中包容了布鲁斯、摇滚、流行等多种音乐元素，具有清晰的旋律线而自成一格。
Clapton曾多次提到JJ Cale是摇滚乐历史上最重要的人物之一，自己是他的忠实拥趸。2014年Clapton召集了一帮好友完成了这张纪念专辑。Clapton负责主要表演部分，Mark Knopfler、John Mayer、Willie Nelson、Tom Petty、Derek Trucks和Don White等音乐人也参与其中。十六首JJ Cale的佳作集结一炉。专辑以1972年的同名单曲“Call Me The Breeze”命名。
